This election season, people in our community have a historic opportunity to directly safeguard fundamental rights, strengthen our democracy, and ensure that decision-making power remains where it belongs: in the hands of the people, not politicians.
When you flip over your ballot this November, you will see three constitutional amendment questions. Voting YES on all three amendments establishes lasting protections for reproductive freedom, marriage equality, and fundamental voting rights across Virginia.
The fact is, we can’t trust politicians to do what’s right for us. Too many are controlled by powerful special interests and big corporations and aren’t focused on what’s right for Virginia. But these ballot amendments put power in the hands of the people and give us the chance to vote directly to ensure our freedoms are protected, no matter who is in office. These amendments let people in our community, not extreme politicians, have the final say on our priorities.
Vote yes on all three amendments so Virginians, not politicians, have the final say.
