This afternoon, the Congressional Budget Office released their score for the GOP‘s American Health Care Act, their “replacement” for Obamacare. The CBO estimates 14 million Americans will lose health insurance immediately and 24 million will lose coverage by 2026.

Progress Virginia executive director Anna Scholl released the following statement. “Virginians deserve a health care plan that improves access to coverage and lowers costs. After seven years of grandstanding, Congressional Republicans have managed to deliver exactly the opposite. If this is the best they can come up with, it’s obviously time to stop pandering by promising to repeal Obamacare and get serious about fixing it.”
