We are going to rest and recharge for the Virginia General Assembly, which begins on January 8. Happy Holidays!
Hero or Zero?

Hero: Shelly Simonds
In the House of Delegates District 94 race, the election still isn’t over. Every vote has been counted, and it’s a tie. Yes, an actual tie. The winner will be chosen by lot on December 27.
In the meantime, thank you to Shelly Simonds for reminding both Virginia and the entire country of the power of every single vote. If you’re not registered for the next election (primary June 12, 2018 and general November 6, 2018), register right now.
Zero: The CDC (okay the Trump Admin)
You may have heard that the Trump Administration directed the CDC to stop using 7 words.
Transgender.
Diversity.
Vulnerable.
Entitlement.
Fetus.
Evidence-based.
Science-based.
Which is great, because personally we prefer our diseases to be based on magic.
