Governor Glenn Youngkin couldn’t get it together enough to manage a viable Presidential run. So now he’s vying for the next best thing: Vice President, with Trump at the top of the ticket. But as a Virginian who has been dealing with Youngkin and his wild incompetence since he was elected, Youngkin is not the Vice President America needs.
^^Glenn Youngkin, probably.
Some people (meaning Republicans) think he might be a good candidate because he won in Virginia, which has voted for Democrats in the last several presidential elections. They hope that with Youngkin in the VP slot, he can bring Virginia back to the red side. But that will never happen.
Virginians aren’t that stupid. I will admit it: he tricked some of us with his goofy red vest and “I’m not a real politician” schtick when he ran in 2021. But since he’s been in office, he has been wildly unpopular.
Everything from his teacher snitch line, lying about his stance on abortion access, using his luxury horse farm to get a massive tax cut to avoid paying his fair share, to his inability to work with members of the legislature to get a budget deal passed and the complete and utter failure of his Glenn-Dome plan, Glenn Youngkin is just not Vice Presidential material. I can’t believe I’m going to say these words, but Trump can do better.
^^Also Glenn Youngkin, probably.
Glenn Youngkin is just a super-rich guy looking to validate himself and soothe his insecurities by buying titles like “Governor.” But he needs to buy himself some therapy, not the title of Vice President. So join me in registering to vote and casting your vote for Joe Biden this November. Regardless of who Trump chooses to be his running mate this time, America does not want or need another four years of Trump.
