WHAT: A rally and press conference to discuss the status of progressive legislation vetoed by the Governor in advance of the General Assembly reconvening for veto session.
WHERE: Bell Tower, Virginia State Capitol, 101 N. 9th St, Richmond VA 23219
WHEN: Tuesday, April 16, 2024, 2-3 PM
WHY: Virginians support these common sense bills and elected representatives to pass them. By vetoing these bills, Governor Youngkin is thwarting the will of the people in order to further his own extreme right-wing agenda and expand his national profile. People in our community are coming together to say we want this legislation and we will keep fighting to make them a reality for all of us.
